March Celebrations

The last Sunday of each month is Celebration Sunday, so named because that's when the church holds a big birthday celebration. The event takes place every month in Fellowship Hall.

Everyone with a birthday or anniversary during the month is recognized with individual cards from the church and others. A giant cake is prepared and the celebrants gather for a group photo.

Those celebrating in March included L to R: Randy and Anne Fortune, Erma Sitser, Kathleen King, Isobel Mellroy and Rev. Henry Boehm.

Spring Cleanup Time

Spring is generally a time for cleaning up as God once again shines His light on the world. DBC called on the faithful for an interior spruce up and many hands made the work very light.

The folks gathered here took a lunch break to enjoy some laughs and fellowship.

After School Program

Our new Junior Church, is underway. Children of elementary school age are taught, supervised and cared for at Debert Baptist Church each school day from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

This Christian education program is offered at no charge, although parents who are able may contribute toward expenses.

Registration is required.
