Keeping You in Stitches

They gather to produce shawls, but judging from the laughter, they are keeping themselves in stitches too.

Debert's Pastor issued a challenge to the church, a challenge that now finds him in the middle of the stitching, much like a fox in the hen house.

Camp Pagweak is Riding High

A very productive Camp Council meeting was held today at Southampton Baptist and we just wanted to keep you folks updated on what's been happening at the Camp.

Thieves Steal from Church
Sunday, May 10, 2009

Thieves broke into Debert Baptist Church to steal audio and video equipment. The theft occurred Saturday night sometime bewteen dusk and dawn.

The main attraction was the church's new TV, a 50 inch flat screen monitor that was installed in the sanctuary.

After School Program

Our new Junior Church, is underway. Children of elementary school age are taught, supervised and cared for at Debert Baptist Church each school day from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

This Christian education program is offered at no charge, although parents who are able may contribute toward expenses.
