Community Supper Put on Hold

Debert's annual community supper will not be held this year. Separate decisions by the two sponsoring churches have put the popular event on hold for 2009.

DBC Raises the Roof

Special guests attended the dedication service for the new roof atop Debert Baptist Church. The special service was in memory of Earl Stevens whose kindness to the community's churches provided the resources to complete the task.

The church combined this dedication service with its monthly celebration of birthdays and anniversaries. A special cake was created, complete with a replica of the church made in the frosting.

Once each month, the members of Debert Baptist celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries for that month. Today, the church also celebrated the dedication of a new roof in memory of the late Earl Stevens. After School Program

Our new Junior Church, is underway. Children of elementary school age are taught, supervised and cared for at Debert Baptist Church each school day from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

This Christian education program is offered at no charge, although parents who are able may contribute toward expenses.

Registration is required.
