Pagweak Reaches Out on the Web
Pagweak Reaches Out on the Web
The Council for Camp Pagweak today announced the launch of the camp's new web page.

Speaking for the council in an email release, Ruth Rushton said, "Although it's still under construction, we are excited to have our Camp on-line and our information updated regularly."

Ruth urges everyone to take a moment and have a look.  Go to:
www.pagweak.org.

The Council thanks Jay and Shannon Redmond of Wittenburg who took on this challenge of designing the site.

Although the camp is closed, the work continues throughout the winter months. The Council is busy year round in fundraising, planning and administration. Much work is done, somewhat invisibly behind the scenes, which becomes quite evident when the camp gate is opened for the season.

Please be in prayer for Jason Burke our Director who continues to give so much to this ministry.

Who planned the execution of John the Baptist?

It seems people are very familiar with the stories surrounding John the Baptist. While not everybody answered correctly, everybody was, at least, on the right track.

Two thirds of our respondents correctly identified Herodias (Matthew 14:3-8) as the plotter fatale. The other one third named Herod the Great. Although that is the wrong answer, it is just technically wrong. You see, Herod and Herodias were Mr. and Mrs., so it is not beyond the realm of reason to deduce that he had something to do with what she was thinking.

For those of you who want to split hairs or blame the lady, then Herodias is the culprit.
